Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Want to share a nice experience I had yesterday at the airport when I went to pick up DH. I took Murphy (1yr old Goldendoodle, apricot,55pds) and Marley (2 yr old Goldendoodle, white, 70 pds) with me in the car and parked in the Cell Phone Lot to wait for plane to come in.
I rolled down the windows, as it was a gorgeous day here and I look over to the car parked next to me and the man is holding up a very professional camera, shooting pictures of the two doods hanging their heads out the window. He said "They are beautiful, do you mind if I take their picture?" "Well ofcourse not ", being the proud mama that I am, I was flattered.

So feeling good about that, I went to pick up DH at the arrival area, and open the back hatch where two very excited doodles are jumping all over their daddy, when ANOTHER gentleman comes up to the car with a camera and says "I have a ALD at home and I love the look of these with the shorter coats, Can I take their picture?" "Well, OFCOURSE you may"....
So now my doodles have to watch out for paparazzi following them....never know when someone is going to want a picture....

How's that for having a feel-good morning with your doodles????

What a grrrreat day for you and the doods. I'll bet you are still smiling and feeling wonderful. I would be.
Yes, still smiling. And I got to retell the story to Marley's daddy last night and smiled all over again. You see, Marley is our daughters and SIL's doodle. We've been sharing a house with them while we are shopping for another one for just ourselves and Murphy. The two doodles are so inseparable now since Sept. that we just do everything with both of them anymore. It's so sad to see the look

on Marleys face if we go to leave with Murphy and don't bring him too. Can't stand it!!!! So we take them both everywhere we can.....

Two peas in a pod!!! What do I do when we move out???? Won't be far, but I don't know what to expect when they aren't together 24/7.
They will BOTH need a sibling! We can arrange that. :o)
We talked about that April. SIL said "OH Yeah!!! then we have 4dogs to deal with when we get together." I don;t really see the problem with that, do you?
Ummm, NO!!
I get together at my parents every Sunday and we have 5 dogs combined....they are not standard dood sized, but still!!!!
The more, the merrier!
Yeah, it's not like HE takes them out and cleans up after them anyway.....SOME MEN!!!!
What a wonderful, "feel good" morning! Murphy and Marley are such ADORABLE, good lookin' doods, it's no surprise that they get this much attention! :)
LOVE this!
How fun! Makes you just swell with doodle pride =)
I am not surprised!! They are both amazing looking dogs. Does your daughter work outside the home? If she does, when you move you could have Marley during the day so he can be with Murphy and they can have lots of sleepovers.
Yes she does work. We plan on having him at least 3 days a week. She already told me no sleepovers tho. She can't go a night without him!!!! She's totally in love with her Marley. We are looking for houses close just so we won't have to drive too far to keep the boys together. Oh, and my daughter and I need to live close to eachother too.
Another lady stopped me today, asked me for my breeders name and I told her about Doodlekisses ofcourse too.
