Samantha loves to carry sticks but much prefers to carry her ball. She is totally ball obsessed as seen here b y this picutre. She ignored 20 other Doodles at the beach to play ball.

izzy is obsesses with anything that can fit, or almost fit in her mouth!! and once she has it she does this "growley" thing, almost as if she is talking it is funny but gets annoying! because until someone acknowledges that she has it she will keep it up.
at our old house, we had no trees, so no trees, no sticks...well since we have moved we have tons of trees and tons of sticks, and she loves them!! tucker seems to like the huge ones that are a challenge for him. the other day he was running with a long stick and tried to go through a tree with a y in it...he spent 10 minutes trying to get through it with the long stick getting stuck...we laughed...but he was determined!

now that tucker is getting bigger they like to fight over the sticks...the tug-o-war game! or sometimes, they share...as seen below....but those moments are few and far between!

Bailey LOVES sticks. If she can't get one to smuggle in, she also goes after pencils, eyeliner and any other similar object!

What a cute picture of Bailey and his stick I love it
Awww Sue, I wish I would of had my camera last evening. We took Lucy to camp with us to winterize. When we got there it had snowed 6" with winds up to 70 MPH, per a neighbor. We found a BIG apple tree in front of the camp down. No damage except for a bird feeder, yeah!!!!!!!! My DH didn't have his chain saw with him so we just cut all of the small branches off of the main tree so that we can cut it up next trip. Well, I was carrying the branches and putting them on a pile to burn and, of course, Lucy had to help. She didn't want the little sticks though, she had to have the really big ones. The only thing, she wouldn't put them on the brush pile though. She would just carry them around and then come back for another. I was worrying though that she would get one in her eye, but she didn't. She had a blast and would of been a great pic.
Yea that would of been a great picture, I am sure she had a blast !!!!!!
Blake always has to carry SOMETHING with him whenever he goes for a walk...a ball...a stuffed animal.....and along the way he drops it in favor of collecting pinecones, rocks and acorns...He has amassed quite a collection....
Cealeach always has to have something in her mouth. Outdoors (or in the basement) it is sticks or a piece of firewood. Indoors, it is a sock, underwear, the cat (LOL), a chewie or toy, SOMETHING!
Good to know. My little Xena is stick obsessed!
I get worried that Sage will eat a piece of bark mulch or a pinecone. I'm always taking something out of her mouth. She isn't into sticks yet but if she can get it she loves to carry a small flashlight. Makes us laugh.

The bigger the better is Jennings' motto! He can be perfectly happy (or so it seems) with one stick, but then he will spy a BETTER one... and will drag me to it. It's definitely the Retriever in them!
Toby loves to carry things too. On one walk he found a fleecy glove, and carried it home Now it's one of his prized possessions. My husband was walking him yesterday and the silly dog picked up a Tim Horton's cup, and carried it all the way home. It would have made a great commercial. :) He is a fan of papers, random blowing leaves, sticks.....stuff.
