Polly is still working on being officially potty trained but coming right along ( I suspect it is mostly us still), she will come to stare at us or stares at the door when she wants to go out in between our getting them out the door.  She knows as soon as she finishes her business I use the clicker to get her attention fast and she comes for her two pieces of kibble treat, we are doing that with Meg as well (fully trained but just don't want to leave her out.  So this morning Polly goes, gets a treat, Meg goes, gets a treat, then it was like a light bulb went off in Polly's brain, she drops again in the pee position, looking straight at me, does nothing and comes running for her treat.  I think I may be outsmarted by this one at some point.

I used to train my great danes with bells and taught my kids to train their dogs with bells...in this case neither one of my girls is the least bit interested in ringing my beautiful set of sleigh bells.

Enzo loves her bells, and so do we!

Fake peeing is pretty great - and deserving of a treat in my book!

Riley was a fake peeer too! It took me a little while to work it out but it was so funny. these dogs are so smart LOL

How funny is that! Love it!

At our house, this is called "Playing The Pawla Cookie Game". Pawla was my last miniature poodle, who was absolutely brilliant and learned very quickly that pottying in the yard got her a "cookie". She was a master at asking to go out and then pretending to pee in order to get a treat.

These doodles are so stinkin' funny.  I loved my danes but in comparison they were just big lovable doofusses!

That is one clever little girl!

LOL, how clever!! She probably deserves that treat. :-)

That is so cute and smart. You are going to have your hands full trying to keep ahead of this little girl. :>)

OMD! What a smart doodle baby! She's brilliant!
