Let's see two pictures of your Doodle from last year and this year to experience just how fast their coats can change. Hattie has gone from straight to curly!

The top picture was taken last January at 10 months of age and the bottom was taken this month (January) at 20 months of age!

Yup--it's crazy! I have seen that before!

Mattie was always wavy, but she went from a blonde to a redhead!

Here she is at 6 months and then at 5 years old. She will be 6 on Saturday!!

Oh and notice the nose--from black to ROSE!! When she was little, she looked like she had highlights applied to her red coat and then all the blonde just grew out and was cut off!

Ginny,  what a change from pup o adult. Wow!

Cubbie didn't really change.  He was always a wavy fleece coat.  Ollie was adopted through DRC so I don't have any puppy pictures of him...sigh

My two really didn't change much either, although I am noticing more grey hairs all through Murphy's coat now. He's only 4 but if that's 30-40 in dog years, he's right on track with the rest of us in our home.

Cubbie has a lot more white hair showing up in random places now too.  I keep thinking that he is still so young (4) but I guess you are right about that being 30-40 in dog years.  I wonder what the typical age is for doggie greying.

We didn't get Clancy until he was two, but I often wonder what he looked like as a pup.  Ned hasn't changed that much except his apricot has faded into a dustier apricot and his ears and tail have faded to blend in. His eyelashes are still quite red.

This is a picture of Chewie at around 14 weeks old. He coat was very curly fleece in very dark chocolate (almost black).

This is a picture at around 20 monthd old. His coat has become much straighter and lighter.

Chewie always looks so nicely groomed!

Chewie has such a beautiful coat.
