Coat Type Continued

Hi,

I had posted earlier enquiring about the coat type of my doodle and I just received a more recent picture of her and was wondering about her coat again.  She is 8 weeks old now and still doesn't have a hint of a facial beard and no curl on her head or face, I was wondering if any one elses puppies were like this and what did they end up looking like.

I forgot to mention she is an F1B goldendoodle, father a standard poodle and mother a goldendoodle with shorter more retrieverish fur.

The thing about doodles is that their puppy coats can be completely different than their adult coats.  Some don't look doodley as puppies and grow into it.  Some never get doodley.  Some are wavy as puppies and get curlier as adults.  Whatever your pup turns out to be, i'm sure she will be cute and you will love her.  Just enjoy watching her grow and enjoy the surprise of seeing what type of coat she ends up with.

She is getting her eyebrows.  I think she will doodle out.  Cute no matter what though :)

I'm just worried she won't doodle out because her legs and face are so smooth and shiny, but no matter the outcome I know I'll love the way she ends up :)

I see doodle facial furnishings beginning and I think she will have a lovely wavy fleece coat.

I agree with BG.  There's some length there on her head/forehead.  I think she will doodle out nicely!

I agree that she will be doodle-y--it is way too early to tell--they really change a lot--but she does not have a smooth coat already--there is a lot of wave everywhere!

Yes I hope that her coat will continue to grow and be wavy, but I am scared that the hair on her head will stay short !

What a shiny coat.  I love her color with the tiny bit of white on her chest.
