Ha!

HA  this is funny!

I have the freedom no pull harness. I like it because you can use it a bunch of different ways and it is really easy to fit and get on and off.

Watched the video on the seller's site--very interesting harness!

Because I'm still training Murphy I use a prong collar which enables me to correct unwanted behaviors.  With Guinness I use a cloth slip lead...I rarely need to correct him, and I with just a little side tug on the slip lead he gets the message that he needs to focus.

Therapy allows head collars and harnesses. The CGC allows choke chains and flat collars.

I had to test with a martingale collar but now that we are out in the assisted living facilities I use a harness and no one cares! I like the harness because Mattie tends to jump up a bit when she greets people which is a BIG no-no! The harness allows me to pull her back quickly if I see her starting to do that. She is getting better at knowing that jumping won't be appreciated! I have used the gentle leader on her and the regular harness that clips at the back--both are helpful.

On Rio and Lyric, I use the gentle leader that goes around the muzzle--it is a miracle if you dog is a puller--one of the people that has one of Lyric's puppies said that it is like walking a leash with no dog attached!

Delta Society allows harnesses, head halters, non-metal martingales, and flat collars.  ONLY the CGC prohibits halters and allows choke chains.

As of November 2010 CGC allows harness.

Boy, I wish our instructor had allowed that. She would not let us use anything but a flat buckle collar.

She probably wasn't aware of the change......otherwise she would have to let you use it.

a standard collar and leash for Cubbie and a Gentle Leader head collar for Ollie.
