Congratulations on your gold medal win in hockey today. Enjoy your celebration. Don't get to drunk tonight partying. See you in 4 years. As much as I wanted the US to win, I'm happy for my boys Sidney Crosby and Marc Andre Flurey being I'm a life long Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Also here in Washington DC they were already bemoaning the fact Sid scored the winning goal (they really don't like Sid here). And their boy Ovechin got nothing.

You got this up very quickly! I guess you were watching and 'computering' at the same time. Congrats to both teams for an awesome game.
Thank you!! The U.S.A. team did a great job so we win by the skin of our teeth(!)
Be proud of your team friends, they play very well.
They show on TV the hometown of Sid and you should see the reaction of his people!!!
Thanks Joe. It was quite a game. My cousins and some of their family members came over from Michigan to watch the game with us at a local watering hole. It was unbelievable. Everyone was in red and white and everyone shouting "Lu" each time Roberto touched the puck, cowbells, tamborines and the guys who ran through the crowd with the flag each time we scored a goal. A spontaneous rendition of Oh Canada at the conclusion of the game. The poor guy next to me may wake up with a bruised shoulder as I shoved him every time there was a close play. Whew - what a game! I thought Miller was outstanding the whole tournament and Team USA were more than worthy opponents.
Thanks, I am a proud Canadian, although if there's an event the Canadians are not taking part in I cheer for the US. Just now watching the closing ceremonies. What am I going to watch now that the olympics are done?
I was the same way Donna. If the US didn't win an event I was pulling for Canada.
Boy Oh Boy!! What a game. We were watching intensely and commenting on how Tori was watching too. (She is truly a Canadian citizen - an import from a a breeder in Ontario ~ LOL). I have a great picture of her watching the game with my husband and one of my sons. I will put it on my pictures...She doesn't usually watch t.v. so we found this hysterical... When the USA scored the tying goal, we all yelled and Tori jumped across the couch! (Don't know if she was happy for US or upset for her Canadian folk...Thought we may have had it, but....Congratulations to our Canadian friends....we'll meet up again!
Thank you , I am also a proud Canadian. It was a nail biter for sure and the USA team played a great game.
what a game!!! i did alot af talking to the tv i'll tell ya! i am not big fan of sid either, mainly because that's all you hear about in the media! it is a team sport and he got one goal.nash was the player of the day as far as i am concerned he set up alot of good plays and his passes were dead on. i love joe thorton, he was raised not far from us too. neely loves to play hockey with the family. the river is frozen and he chases the pucks around and he gets them sometimes so someone has to call him to stop prancing around the rink with it and come drp it. he drops it better than some refs!
Thanks so much from us Canadians here! Even Pepsi got into the action when we were all shrieking for joy! We also wonder what we will be doing now that the Olympics are over. My husband went to a few of the games and he said they were so exciting. Both Canada and the US were amazing, congratulations to all the US successes too!
I was a little obsessed with the Olympics this year. And was very happy for the Canadians for having the most gold medals! To think they were worried about the home turf curse...that is officially over!
Thanks !! The game was a nail biter for sure and the US team certainly made things interesting and played a great game. Fortunately for us (Canada) we won the gold on home ground and our country is "on cloud nine" over this. Trust me, either team could have won and in four years I would bet that the US will be even stronger.
