Hoping and praying that none of my fellow Doodle Lovers are effected by this, but wanting to send my thoughts and prayers to those that are and to let you know your Canadian friends are feeling for you. How heartbreaking that society (and lost individuals) can be so cruel. Children under 10 years old don't deserve this fate for any reason.. God Bless!!

Amen F....This is just another example why we need to have stricter laws for guns..

I know we have the right to carry guns but OMG why does anyone need to be able to own a semi automatic wepon when they are used for such terror.  Leave the automatic weapons for the military and law enforcement only!!!

This is a tragedy beyond words, we in Ireland cannot understand your gun laws.  This man ( and it is always young men) had two guns and a semi-automatic weapon.  Even if you were to say that having a gun for self defense was Ok who would need three or a deadly assault rifle.?  What is not always understood is that boys brains are not fully formed until very late, (usually later than girls)  The frontal lobes are the final part of development, the executive functioning part, the part that makes the decisions about what is safe and sensible and Ok to do.   Combine an immature brain with some sort of mental instability and throw these lethal weapons into the mix and you sometimes end up with massacres.  Unless the gun laws are changed and some sort of handing in of the masses and masses of weapons this will inevitably happen again.  My heart goes out to all the parents and families of the slain and for the children whose childhood innocence has been robbed today.
