Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I know that some of you have seen this done to poodles before--I just happened to run across this photo of a grand prize winner in a grooming contest and thought it was, well, somewhere between amazing and weird....I mean, who does this to a dog? Imagine how long the dog has to stand still for all this work--isn't there some other way to demonstrate your talent and creativity? I don't get it...

This is very weird to me. I would never do that!!!! CRAZY!
Geez...Our doodles are so spoiled, they get all bent out of shape over bunny ears!
I just wanted to pop in and share that sometimes they do it to themselves. For instance, what I came home to this afternoon - a dog all decked out for the local St. Patrick's Day parade (a bit late).
Exhibit A, my green Lachlan:
This photo doesn't quite do justice to the sheer hilarity that is a cream-colored doodle covered from head to toe with grass stain!
LOL!! Been there with my cream colored doodle--she loves to roll in freshly cut grass!
We have some greenish legs at the moment too.
To be honest, Sandy, I'm not sure. I'd bet it would wash off, but I've always had dark dogs up 'til now ... and since Declan ate the dryer cord and I haven't gotten around to sorting out another dryer I'm hoping for wear off, LOL!
