Cross-eyed Doodle???

Charley is cross-eyed!!  Does anyone else have a cross-eyed doodle?    :D

Theses are adorable photos! We had a friend with a cross-eyed Akita. She was like the cowardly lion rather than the guard dog she was bred to be. Loved her!

Cooper isnt cross eyed, but one of my cats is (Legolas the lynx siamese). Its kinda cute!

Karen, have you asked your vet or talked with them about Charley's vision?

Ask your vet!   They will know right away.  This, to me, looks like it is the fault of the camera and flash.  Or you have something really close to the dogs nose forcing his vision inward.

Regardless, don't mess around.  Ask your vet.

I had a blind dog.  He did just fine.  But there are things you need to know about living with a dog with vision problems.

There are articles on the web that give information about cross-eyed vision in dogs.

Hope it's nothing serious, but I would check with the vet too. She's cute, such a light nose!

Awwww.... they certainly look crossed in the picture.  How do they look when there is not a  camera pointed at him, like in normal situations?  I would mention this to his vet, maybe he will refer you to a doggie optimologist (sp?) to check his vision.  The pictures are awful cute though :)

Lyric's eyes are like that too but I think it is because they are facing forward more than other dogs' eyes do--closer together, that is. Lots of doodles have eyes like that and i think it is nothing to worry about, personally.
