Darwin's first official walk

I took Darwin to my favorite place to run in the beautiful city of Charlotte.  It's called the Sugar Creek Greenway.  I'm out here about 5 nights a week!

Darwin just finished his third round of shots and I haven't really taken him out to public places unless I could carry him.  He did really well on the leash.  They also have quite a few fountains on the trail and he ended up trying to get a drink and fell into one.  He seemed very happy with himself.  I wish I had throught to get a picture..but I did get one after!

Enjoy the few pics I took!  I only had a camera-phone since I didn't plan on taking pictures..but my husband had his trusty iphone.

We move into a townhome next month so i'm hoping to get him used to walking quite a bit.  We will live right across the street from a nice jogging trail.  I hope in a year or so to run with him!

I love this place!  It's a beautiful area to walk..Darwin did get lots of attention from people passing by.

Hi Stephanie.

How exciting.  My puppy has her third round of shots, next week.  I haven't walked her outside our front gates as yet, but she has been to some very clean beaches and we have a large backyard.

 

I cannot wait to take her on her first official walk in our home neighbourhood.  Your puppy looks just like my Missy - when she is wet. (Only she is midnight in colour)  So........cute!
