how about tricks to teach the dogs? When my Mum came to visit she decided to teach Cooper a trick while I was at work. 2 days later and Cooper could walk backwards!
That is a great idea and she would really enjoy it.  Thanks Kaytlin
LOL--thanks for this stroll down memory lane.  My girls are grown, and I have two grandchildren, but I remember SO clearly my younger daughter and her little-kid days.  She talked.  And talked.  It was endless, and she was like a colt, always beside me.  I couldn't tune her out because every now and then she tossed in something like "I'm taking the fish across the street because Aaron wants to let it swim in the bathtub with bubblebath..."  or some other thing that was completely a no-no.  As you would expect, the adult her spends a lot of time on the phone.  :)
That sound like my DD.  If I'm trying to ignore her all of a sudden she say's something guaranteed to get my attention.  Fish swimming in a bubblebath is something she would try, lol.
