Do You Have A Story To Tell? I DO!

Sometimes things are so funny and unexpected that you just have to share.

A few days ago my DH started a converstion with "I have to tell you what I did today and I really hope no one was watching". I was almost afraid to hear what he was going to say next. The story continued like this, " While I was at the golf course today walking with Quincy he was having problems with snowballs stuck to his paws. He had one that was really bothering him and he would stop every few steps and try to chew it off. Quincy couldn't seem to get rid of it so I tried to pick it off for him. I tried to get it off with my fingers but I couldn't get it either, so I took a quick look to make sure no one was watching and then I picked up his paw and chewed it off myself". OMD, I couldn't quite believe he had just said that, I found myself practically falling on the floor from laughing. When I finally stopped laughing I said " You know I am going to write a blog about this because it is just too funny to keep to myself". He just smiled, I think he already knew when he told me that his secret wasn't going to be so secret anymore.

This reminds me of something I had to do last week to my Golden, Bentley. He had had diarrhea for several days, and I noticed he seemed irritated around his anus, and I know how I feel when I've had the runs for a couple days, its sore and stings, so I took some of my baby wipes (I call them "butt wipes") and wet it with warm water and I thoroughly, but gently wiped his poor sore bottom! He looked at me kindof funny, but afterwards I think he realized how much better he then felt, and I am sure that he was thankful! = )

Yup, I had a special pack of baby wipes by the back door and wiped Bella every time she peed or pooped when she was a pup. Seems perfectly normal to me too. But then whats NORMAL when it comes to our doodles?
