We had originally gotten Bella for us to each share in the doodle love when we are in different rooms. One for each of us. Murphy always seemed torn like "Which way should I go?" So sometimes he wouldn't go anywhere. Now we have Bella and she is like a shadow!!!  In the kitchen, living room, bathroom, right along side me while we sleep. I just love it and didn't realize how absolutely curious they can be with every little thing. Murphy had always been a little aloof and disinterested in what I was doing.

I should have named her Nelly, for Nosey Nellie!!!  Has her nose into everything I'm doing!! LOVE IT!!

Do you have a clingy nosey doodle?

Oliver is just like Banjo, where ever I am he is, and if he is asleep and I leave the room, he comes to find me, and lays down where I am.  Occasionaly he will sit with Ira, and show him some attention, but then he comes to find me if I am not in the room.  Oliver also sleeps in his crate by his choice at night, but I have seen him look up to make sure I or we are there in the bedroom with him...And yes I do speak to him, like a person, lol, and he and I have wonderful conversations, lol
Yes, they do seem to understand what we are talking about don't they?  Or maybe I just think they do???
Allie follows me everywhere. She does not care where DH goes but with me it is a different story. I sometimes wish I could tell her she does not have to follow me upstairs because I am just going to be there a second before coming back downstairs. She follows me anyway;) Love it.
I do tell the dogs not to bother, then I figure, hey, it's exercise.
You tell them not to bother, okay F, wouldn't be surprised if one day they just stay there like they really understand you!!! hahaha
Gracie Doodle is not a velcro Doodle and sometimes I wish she was.  We have a very small house and so she can see us from just about any room.  She loves my DH just as much as she does me so she is always torn.  Right now I am in my den and she is on the floor behind my chair.  Usually she is in the hallway between this room and the room across the hall where DH has his computer/office.  She sprawls out in the hall so she can keep an eye on us both.  We have to step over her to get in and out of the rooms.  She usually doesn't follow us because she knows we are just getting something to drink and coming right back.  Other times she is on our bed which is at the end of the hall.  She sleeps at the foot with her head hanging over and looking down the hall.  Now if she hears the back door, keys or her collar she is up and down the hall in two seconds flat!!

Sasha is a velcro dog too!

Ever since she was a puppy...she wanted to be right by my side..if not on me!

If I'm sitting at my computer...she's right there...sitting on my feet!

If I'm cooking dinner...there's Sasha...laying right behind me...

If I walk out of the room she gets right up to follow me...and if I happen to close the gate door...she comes to the gate and lays there... waiting for me to come back...

She wants to be with me...and I want to be with her!

I love my velcro girl...and wouldn't want her Any other way...

Huff is a nosey doodle too.
I call Ollie my "tail" . He is where I am. He loves following me around. There was a time when he would wait outside the bathroom door and whine. He doesn't whine anymore but he does follow me around. The only time he'll ignore me is if my husband is in the kitchen and I'm not..so I guess the kitchen wins.
Ha ha, same in my house with the kitchen trumping momma.
Yes, same here with the kitchen too. Especially Bella, she seemed to have figured out early that all good things come out of that room!!! Murphy is a little slower on that one, but he will watch Bella to make sure he gets his cut!
Camus is my shadow.  Maybe we should start a "Velcro Dog" group...
