How about a border around the photo instead?
I identify a lot of the regular posters by the profile photo. This makes it hard. I know the names are there, too, but...

I agree about the recognition. But I think there will be a technical problem with the border. They are really tiny pictures. Maybe a tiny gold dot but it still would be hard to find a good spot for everyone unless the individuals could move them. The things we worry about.

Yes, I am coming in late but I do think it would be nice to have a recognition that new people can see. Hummm, gonna go check out my profile! Nope...I have not yet been crowned!!!! I'm waaaaiiiititing!!!

I like this idea. I'm sure we can all change our profile pictures to accommodate whatever works for you. Thanks for the recognition. I always wanted to know who everyone was that had the trophy.

There is one on my profile pic also and I am guessing that it is for having a certain number of points or maybe for the HDA award. Anyway, it looks like I am in good company.

I think it must be HDA trophy recipients.
If It's permanent, I'll have to find another profile photo so JD's gorgeous nose isn't covered.
