Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
It's the holiday/end of year time when dh and I like to make our charitable contributions. This year we'd like to include something of substance to benefit our animal/dog friends. There are several from which to choose but I'd be curious to hear which among them may be favorites of doodlekisses fans.

I agree ... Many members here are volunteers and supporters of this wonderful organization. Morris Animal Foundation is also another good one in my opinion. http://www.morrisanimalfoundation.org/about-maf/our-work/dogs.html
Morris Animal Foundation is one of my pet charities, literally. They do such amazing research work. Their Golden Retriever Lifetime Cancer Study may help our goldendoodles live longer healthier lives:
Absolutely....DRC has saved SO MANY Doodles and many of us here on DK have DRC rescue Doodles.
I agree with Karen the DRC is an amazing organization what will use your funds responsibly.
We donate our time and money to the DRC (Doodle Rescue Collective) Here is a link to their home page: http://doodlerescue.org/ If you donate $150, you get a lovely paw pendant.
Just read the other recommendations - GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE.
I donate to Guide Dogs for the Blind as well. Great, great organization. http://welcome.guidedogs.com/
And another great, old legitimate service dog organization (so many are not) is Canine Companions for Independence: http://www.cci.org/site/c.cdKGIRNqEmG/b.3978475/k.3F1C/Canine_Compa...
Guide Dogs For the Blind is a great organization. My mom and I visited the Oceanside, California campus once.
I also donate to Save a Vet, a great organization that rehabilitates and provides homes for retired military dogs, many of whom cannot live in the general population: http://www.save-a-vet.org/d7/
I just have to mention our rescue group: Maltese Rescue California...
Besides giving to the DRC, we donate to the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Brewster and Dedham shelters. There are plenty of local Animal Rescue League locations throughout the country; they do outstanding work to rehabilitate and re-home.
