Doodle Kisses - Who's kissing Whom?

We all just love the wet sloppy kisses our wonderful doodles give us, hence the name of the website. However, I have been taking note lately of how many times a day I will just walk by one of my two adorable doodles, and just have to plant a big smooch on the top of their head or tip of their nose.
I liken it to how when in kissing range of one of my dear dear grandchildren and just can't stop myself from kiss- kiss- kissing them!
What's the best part --- is none of them wipe off my kisses....yet!
Remember that stage ladies, when your children were so humiliated and disgusted by our blatant show of affection they just had to wipe their face with their sleeve to get the cooties off !

Doodles are a mama's answer to a kissing addiction!

How funny that she won't hug you in front of others. Yes. I bet you do look like the crazy dog people! But you're in good company. Lol

[Laurie, Fudge, and Vern]

I had a rescue dog that, at first, did not like you coming over top of her to give her a hug (by that, I mean, standing up and leaning down to give her a hug). However, she grew to love being hugged, but we took it slowly. Vern and Fudge, on the other hand, seem to want to be hugged, especially when I am in the bathroom. Go figure!

It's like we are sitting on the throne to receive greeters or something. I totally get it.

Oh yes, we have the group bathroom hug too. Maybe they know we are a captive audience at that moment!

Ha! We too share that bathroom hug! Jack loves his hugs and he leans in to tell us he wants one and I can't get enough! Kisses are countless - from him, to him, it's all automatic and priceless! And then you have to breathe into that fur.. mmmmm!

Sedona "lets"me hug her.  It's kind of like we're playing freeze tag - she stands statue-still until I get my hug, then off she goes!

[Nancie & Gracie Doodle]

That is interesting because Gracie Doodle lets us hug her all the time.  She can be standing in the middle of the kitchen and I will go over, bend over and wrap my arms around her huge torso and lay my head on her back or side kissing and hugging her body.  Or I will wrap my arms around her neck and pull her head up for a huge nose and lip kiss.  If she is sitting on the bed looking out the window I will walk up to her and wrap my arms around her neck leaning my chest into hers and she will completely relax and rest her heavy head on my shoulder with her head against my ear.  We will stay that way for a good 5 minutes and I just whisper and talk to her and tell her how much I love her.  She is really a loving girl and just what I need to keep my heart full!

Kona is not a licker but he gets tons of kisses. Owen will give a lick occasionally and he also is kissed multiple tomes a day.

I kiss my two all the time. As much as I can...LOL! My husband, on the other hand, will not kiss them, but hugs them every chance he gets. Between the two of us, hugs and kisses are covered here.

[Jane, Rooney & Stuart]

Who could resist kissing this nose?The kisses never stop at my house!!!  Both Rooney and Stuart get their noses kissed all the time, I am specially addicted to Stuart's big ol black nose!!!  Rooney wakes me with his very soft little kisses in the morning and I have to be careful cause he goes right for the mouth - I've gotten a little tongue full many times - lol.  Stuart have a great big ol tongue and he gives big kisses to my face.  Hugging is something that I do to both boys but Stuart actually hugs you all on his own, very cute.
