Before I became a doodle owner I was always mistaking Wheatons for Doodles for some reason...maybe I still do. Not sure I haven't seen one lately...or HAVE I???? LOL!

I saw a wheaton in my neighborhood while driving, I pulled over, told the owners that their dog was beautiful and asked what breed - thinking it was doodle - oops - wrong again!

If you want to check out the Wheatens that my Dad has it is "Jomac" and he has his business on facebook.
Here is a pic of one of his champions.I am proud of Dad....he was a teacher and a RN and he started this business when he took early retirement in 1993 and wanted to start showing dogs. He is 73 and still growing strong and now shows,breeds and runs a grooming shop/kennel and dog supply shop.

This is my brother and sister in laws fur baby....he is the sweetest wheaten I know.His name is Murphy and he is about 4 years old.

I've never seen a wheaton cut like a schnauzer. Pretty coat.

That is how they are shown in AKC. I think most pet owners clip them short because they can't keep up with coat care.

He is a show dog....Murphy had his Canadian Championship while still under a year old.He's a sweetie.I will tell my SIL Oonagh all the nice things said about her Murphy:)
