Amazing the impact that one generous woman & one wonderful dog have had on this community.  It is with much sadness that I send condolences to you, Karen.   Tears still come when I remember dogs we had many, many years ago...they steal our hearts & keep them forever ❤️

Oh Karen, I am so very sorry to hear about JD. I have been traveling and just now opened my computer and read this heartbreaking news. You and JD are at the heart of Doodle Kisses and have been instrumental in helping so many of us.
I am grieving with you in the loss of your beautiful sweet boy. I know he had the best life possible because you found each other. It was meant to be, that you couldn’t quit thinking about him after you first saw him...and that you went back to save him. He was your heart dog and You were his heart human.
