Eye inflammation

Hi guys! My little guy has what looks like an inflamed eye, it's had crusty discharge and what should be white it all red. All that said he's not itchy or scratching at his face or acting any different. We haven't changed anything to his routine, his food, or any cleaning products in the house. I called my vet and she can't fit him in for two weeks. Have any of your doodles had "eye issues"? I'm wondering if there's anything I can do at home until then or on the other hand if I need to get him in sooner than that even if that means going elsewhere. Thanks for your help guys!

Sorry I'm just getting back to this feed! I called back and asked to speak the vet themselves since speaking to the receptionist was getting no where and they got him in early this morning! Thank god someone has common sense there! I did do the tear drops over the weekend and that actually cleared up a lot of the redness so that was atleast comforting! However I still feel like I should be searching for a new vet so I don't have to jump throught hoops with everything! Thank so much guys! It's good to hear that someone besides me thought their original time frame was a little much!

So glad you were able to by-pass the receptionist.  When you find a new vet, I would let the old one know why your changed - he/she needs to know their staff is not adequate and losing them business.
