All the fun of a regular stick - without the cracks & splinters!
There's nothing like the simple things in life to keep your pup happy, and one of these will always be a good chewing stick. But splinters and splits pose a health hazard for pups that love to chew and have resulted in many ER visits. After about 3 years of research, the folks at Petstages came up with a solution - the new Durable Stick.
These sticks, available today at a 40% discount, are made with an innovative material that combines real wood with durable synthetic material to create a stronger, safer “stick”. The natural wood smell will attract and keep your pup's interest for hours. They're non-toxic and designed to break down over time into small shavings, giving dogs the “reward” and satisfaction of wearing it down. The non-toxic "wood" crumbles very slowly over the course of the chew versus splintering, making this stick 100% safe for your pup.

I have tried rubber variations and Cooper hated them, these look different though
Here is a video on them also?
i saw these too..wonder where they are manufactured?
I wondered that same thing myself but was unable to find anything on their website. The Company is in IL, but that doesn't mean that is where these are manufactured or where their ingredients are from. I've sent them a message asking for this information. I'll post when I get it.
Their 1st response didn't really answer my question, as it seems they thought I wanted the recipe. So, I asked again and just specifically said I didn't want the recipe I wanted to know if they were made with products from China. Here is the response.
All of the materials used in these toys are assembled in the US, then shipped to China to be compressed into shape. Nothing is added to the US materials. We hope this helps.
Good night, they can't compress them here. I'm passing on these anyway but it seems ridiculous to make the material here ship it to China and back again. This world is becoming too convuluted.
It is obviously cheaper to do it this way or it wouldn't be done. It doesn't sound too bad though as far as ingredients not being Chinese. What possible harm could Chinese compression do?
Actually they said the materials are assembled in the US...doesn't mean they materials were created in the US, though, does it?
I truly don't trust too many manufacturers now.
I just saw these. I think they would be lost among all the real sticks in no time. Last evening Luca had an about 1" diameter stick on the screen porch. In not time it was reduced to mulch. I let my two chew real sticks and so far we have had no problems. I don't think I'll get these.
If they are similar to a nylabone I think my two would like them....but the cracks and splinters are what ATTRACT them to chewing sticks. They love the cracking.
Hmmmmmmm......
I am not buying anything for choodle that goes to China! Done with it!
But Peri is a stick lover - I think for the REAL cracking and splintering :)
