I know this is a food issue sort of but also a safety one. Once again thanks to DK I found out that Jack was not eating out of a safe bowl or what might not be a safe bowl.

I was all set to buy some stainless steel ones but I wanted to try to find the Fiesta bowls because they are made in the USA and I know they are safe thanks to Karen...

Kohls carries Fiesta and they are on sale 40 percent off. Jack and Molly got six bowls... I got mix and match colors.. They are precious and adorable. I love the pops of color they add to the kitchen, I love having enough that I can put them in the dishwasher after use.

I just wanted to share if anyone was still looking for an alternative to a bowl made in China.... I am so thrilled... they have great colors... if only I knew how to post a picture on here......

The size bowls we got were normally $15.99 on sale for $9.99 and if you use your Kohls card, you get another 20 percent off of that.. You can't beat that.... I officially have now spent every ounce of my birthday money on my boy, between special treats, special grooming, buying his Christmas presents and now SAFE BOWLS.... Yay I would have it no other way..

THank you DK for keeping Jack safe....... If I ever figure out how to post pictures I will show you the cool color combo's and the new stand I got that holds three bowls for when Molly is here!!

I saw these also, they are very cute.
I have the 1qt bowl size for my guys, and I love them as well. They are pretty heavy but I like that because they don't slide around when they are eating. I got them when one of my stainless steel bowls were getting rusty.

Our everyday dishes are Fiesta Ware.  When I switched Haley to Acana the amount of food was reduced to equal former calories so I just use the unrimmed soup/salad bowl from our set for Haley.  Put them in the dishwasher daily.  I don't notice that he moves the bowl around.

Ha Anne, Mr..Haley must be a much more delicate eater than my two bull dozers. I think they push the dishes along and nudge them thinking there has just got to be more food under or around the bowls. Then when both are empty they switch places and have to commence with more pushing and nudging of each others bowls just in case the other missed something. Crazy doodles.

For a 60+ pound doodle, Haley is a very delicate eater even though he eats quickly and does lick his bowl.

Ooooh, I collect Fiesta and had no idea they made pet bowls!

JACK AND MOLLY love their new bowls.... I love them too., win win for us

I just love the bright happy colors! Pixel's bowls (food, afternoon snack, night-time treat - yes, he's that spoiled) are all Fiesta but I never thought about using them for the dogs too.

We have fiestaware for our daily dishes already. I just use the big serving bowl for Sam's, the goldendoodle, bowl and the little cereal bowl for Eli, the Chorkie. Love them! Just don't tell my guest when they come over!

Love the Fiesta Ware but has anyone found a nice looking safe bowl for the dogs that inhale their food:) I've only seen them in metal or plastic. Would love to find a ceramic one

Platinum Pets has some beautiful colored stainless slow-eating bowls, and all their stuff is USA made:
