Dad was minature Schnauzer, Gordon Setter, Norfolk terrier, and a small amount of mastiff, and Polish lowland Sheepdog.

Personally I think Finnegan is definitely an Oodle (oodles of breeds!) and your tests have just confirmed this.  Oodles are related to Doodles but only in a species specific way !!! ; )
