Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Many months ago DK membe rLynda Kamrath saw a winter picture I took of Spud out playing in the snow. She asked me if I would mind if she used the photo for one of her art projects. Of course I said yes, but I really gave it not much thought after that first posting.
From time to time Lynda wrote me to tell me how much progress she had made and for what I knew, she was playing around in Photoshop or something...............?
Even when she wrote about her art show in her discussion I did not understand the extent and beauty of her work.
Oh My Doodle. Look what came in the mail. Even here, I can't show you just how fabulous the photos are printed. Lynda used 4 different types of media:
1. Art Paper
2. Canvas -No wonder artists choose traditional canvas. The colors and true
3. Metal- stunning color with a hint of definition in its' sheen. Nice!
4. Giclee - I have never seen this type of media but to me it reminds me of printing on glass. Beautiful and reflective. No wonder Lynda raves about this style of printing. You have to see it in person. I was in awe.
Words can not express my gratitude to Lynda for sending me ALL FOUR, even though I encouraged her to keep one for herself. I will choose one to send back... as I think she might love my dog on her walls for years to come. LOL
I would also encourage people to PRINT. We take so many digital photos now but save them in a metal computer box unappreciated. Thank you so much Lynda
Please stop by Lynda's discussion in the Art Cafe Group here on DK to learn more about Lynda and her art work and the art show she did with this photo in different media
Not the best photos as I was editing. Did you know that the blur tool takes out the wrinkles? I didnt use it here, obviously, but in another photo I tried it but I kept blurring Spud's head as I was just using a touch pad. Anyway, it might be great for human portraits
Lynda, we were honored you choose us and we will live for many years with your art work on our walls.

Wow, they are gorgeous!
These are all just gorgeous. I have several of Lynda's great works of art. She did one for me of Fudge and one of Vern and John immediately took them to his office! I also just recently had Jane paint a beautiful painting of my mother-in-law in Ireland and Lynda printed it for me. We will treasure that one always. Joanne, Hang them proudly. They are all beautiful!!
Fantastic! What a talented and generous person Lynda is! She had a good model in Spud and a good photo from you to work with too.
