Of course I totally adore Jack and think he is the cats meow.  One of the things that Jack does that drives me insane is after he is done eating or drinking, he goes onto my carpet and rubs his face each side up and down the carpet. If I don't stand over him and wipe his face with a napkin.. he heads straight for the carpet.

No one is allowed to eat on my carpets, wear their shoes or anything.. Yet here is my dog, using my carpet to wipe his face!!!!

What does your dood do that you wish you could change?

The one thing I would change about Tara would be that she would become a more enthusiastic EATER!!  I have never had a dog who is less interested in her meals (not treats!)  Regardless of what is offered she looks at it like I just set down a bowl of DIRT!! It is so discouraging!! All my previous dogs just INHALED their food! Not this girl!!!
Jack is super picky too, sometimes it is embarrassing because people offer him a treat and if he actually puts it in his mouth, he spits it out and walks away, usually he sniffs it and looks at them like they must be nuts for offering him something other then something absolutely high on his list of likes, (which changes day by day so no one ever knows)
I'm laughing so hard at this because the mail lady keeps treats in her truck and the other day she "tried" to give Rooney a treat.  First of all he wouldn't get close enough to the little mail van so I had to go get it and then it was a big ol piece of those Beggin Strips - well Rooney looked at it like "my mom doesn't feed me junk food, I can't eat this"!  I was sort of embarrassed that he just stood there and would't take it.  LOL.  Glad I'm not the only one that this has happened to.
and I am glad to know their are other doods who do the same thing.. So funny!!!
Tara does this too! When I say she likes treats, I mean she likes the treats she gets at home!  Treats offered to her by others are usually not worthy and she will either turn her head away from them or take them very gingerly into her mouth and then drop them!  It is kind of awkward!
That is exactly what Jack does, I almost feel like eating the cookie so I don't hurt their feelings. Our doods, so funny..
Kona won't take a treat from strangers. He is food obsessed but he is NOT condescending to taking a treat from just anybody.
Huff is just like this too! It sounds exactly like what he does. He even does this with home cooked food! I have never heard of a dog being so picky about his dinner. He always eats his treats though. It is like he is a junk food addict...

Darwin has 2 annoying habits. The first, is that he is kind of jerky/abrupt. He will be laying in his crate, and not move a muscle, until you put your hand on the crate door. Then he jerks up, super fast. Or when dogs are approaching him, he will lay down, and stay perfectly still until right before they get there, then leap up. He's just... abrupt at times and I wish I could train him not to be, as it alarms people sometimes.

The second, he's really rubby/sneezy. Whenever he gets happy or excited, he will go crazy rubbing his face on things and sneezing. Just kind of grody. LOL

It's funny that doods have quirks just like we do. :-)

So true... I just know Jack would say that the thing he can't stand about me is how indecisive I am with him about what to do with him and I always second, third and fourth guess any decision I make until I finally decide to stop reading about it, I think he also would be annoyed with the fact that when he is sleeping and I want to play I blow on his face.. That really ticks him off and makes me laugh!!!
Ned kisses quickly - darts in for the smooch.  It is quick like Darwin's moves and you never see it coming - unless you know it is.
You all are very kind to not point out I spelled Habit, habbit..... UGGG
