Get Your Photos Ready for the 2013 Doodle Calendars!

We start accepting photo submissions for our 2013 Doodle Calendars in September.  Although that's a month away I wanted to get everyone ready and I want you to know what to expect.  Here is where you can read about the type of photos we'll be looking for: http://www.doodlekisses.com/page/calendar-photo-requirements

Your pup is adorable!! Did you read the requirements for the photos--can't tell but you may have to tweak these a bit....not sure though!!

Jan Byrd...that will be announced Sept 1st.  If I announce it too soon then people start sending photos in before I'm ready.

Also, you need to read the size the pictures need to be.  They have to have enough pixels to be clearly reproduced in calendar size - about 9x12.  Pay attention to your backgrounds too - like indoor shots that have your dirty dishes in the sink may show your doodle to be just darling, but probably won't be chosen due to the background.

Well - it IS August 1st and those of you with the PUPPIES 2012 Calendar - well there is my Rooney!!  I've waited ALL year to flip this page!!!!!!!!!  Those green eyes kill me.  So this year the goal will be to get our baby Stuart - our rescue - the BIGGEST blessing in my life on a page.  Crossing my fingers.

Good idea, Jane.  Stuart's puppy pictures are adorable - but then so are his big boy pictures.

There is a discussion in the Photography group where you can post photos but you still have to submit them to Adina at the appropriate time. If you post in the discussion you will get some feedback. We also have past discussions from 2010 1nd 2011. The photos have to have it all, well shot, edited, good backgrounds etc. Read, read the directions. Adina won't look at photos that don't meet calendar requirements.
