Good news! Hurley has been accepted for the Doodle Messenger!!

I just got to check my email..I opened it and had the reply that Hurley got the vote to be added to The Doodle Messenger! I can't believe that the board members read Hurleys story and voted today! This is so amazing that you all pointed me in the direction that we needed to go. I was so upset last week and nervous about the Hurleys condition and now I am jumping up for joy that he is getting his surgery! He is going to get the help he needs and get these cysts off his head!

If it wasn't for all of you I would don't know where we would be. You helped give me advice, helped with the list of questions for our vets, told me about the Doodle Messenger and prayed for us...! You have no idea what this means to my family and Hurley.

I know we have a long road to go...I am hoping surgery will be sometime next month. He will have the first surgery to get the two cysts removed from his eyes. About 2 months later he will have the second surgery.

I don't think Thank you is enough in this case...I hope to "pay it forward" very soon!

Maryann, it may take a little while for his story to be posted.  They will contact the Vets involved and usually setup and way to make the donations directly to the Vet.    Once his story is posted on the site, someone from the Board will post a link here on DoodleKisses.     Or you can keep watching the link above.

 Yes,   I have made donations before for Doodles needing help through Doodle Messenger.    I am sure they have told Regina that they will be contacting the Vet involved and getting contact information.   They verify the case, setup contact information and then donations are made directly to the Vet's office.   I am sure someone on the Board can give you more information.   It is a way for us all to make a donation and have it verified by a third party that it is going where it is meant to be going, with no expenses to the Owner of the sick Doodle.  Doodle Messenger asks for nothing in return.

This is terrific news.  From what looked like an almost impossible position last week we are now here and full of realistic hope.  This goes to prove that even when things look at their very blackest we must never give up.

Good things happen to good people and good doodles. I love that you hope to pay it forward soon. That just shows what a grateful and loving heart you have. I am so happy for you all. Plus you still have time to save up too. This again is a good testament to how valuable pet insurance is. Thank you for keeping us all so updated.
