Goof-a-Doodles!

Just finished relating this story to Stephanie( and Ragley).

We had another encounter today. Sitting at Starbucks, a couple starts discussing Enzo. He remarks what a cool looking dog, She says: oh that's one of those expensive , snooty Designer dogs". And follows up with: " people who buys those are soooooooo dumb".
Now my snooty designer dog has her nose buried in the Starbucks cup finishing off her puppicino( whipped cream) ( insert rolling eyes here)
Now, they decide they want to meet and pet her.
She comes over and asks what kind of Designer dog is she? I reply she is actually a very rare breed: a Goof-Doodle. She replies " oh...I never heard of that one! How do you spell it? She's typing into her phone....I spell it for her......and wait for the reaction. Nothing! LOL....whose the dumb one??? She left still doing a search on her phone!

I compete at agility where a mixed breed is referred to as an "All Canadian". One of the regular competitors is very 'kennel club' but for some reason she is very taken with my F1 LD. Hartley has quite a straight coat and a lot of people ask if he is a wolfhound mix. At one of the trials we were at, she told me that she decided Hartley needed a breed name. A couple of weeks later I saw her again and she christened him an 'Outer Hebridean Wolfhound' which I think sounds awesome!! So, if someone dumb asks me what he is, that is the answer I give them!!

I'm blonde too, so we are all in it together! Thanks for posting the picture, it is frustrating not being able to do it directly from my phone. Yeah, he is pretty special looking. I know there are other doodles out there that look like him, but it seems the curly coated doodles are becoming more common.

I have a curly multi-gen that my agility instructor and I decided is an oversized lagotto romagnolo - look them up they look like doodles! Chase at 50lb is a bit bigger, hence the 'oversized'!!

Stella: you actually can post pics from your Iphone/IPad. You must host the pic somewhere first...I use Photobucket. It's free and they have a very user-friendly Mobil App. Upload the pic to Photobucket and then copy the HTLM link into the body of your post.
