Got Duped by a Doodle!

[Penny, Comiskey & Beemer]

First, some background.....we have a rule that after being outside, Comiskey and Beemer MUST come up on the deck, sit & show me their paws....they both are front paw diggers....so I only inspect the front ....now for the duped part....Beemer's paws are always dirty....he has his favorite spot to dig...so no suprise with him....Comiskey's paws always clean. Good Girl!.....until today...I happened to walk past the window when they were out.....yep, you guessed it....Comiskey has been digging with her back paws...so when she sits for her inspection...she very graciously gives both FRONT paws....clean...get's a treat......and Beemer gets the blame for the giant hole in the back yard. 

Moral of the story....when your doodle looks so sweet and innocent....assume you have been duped!

This is SOOO cute. How very smart of her. My puppy Sheila knows that she will get treat, get to go in car, or I will play w/ her after she pees. So she does the fastest squat and up and just looks at me like, ok I did it, let's get going. I really have to watch her. She is also a digger and that is a PAIN, isn't it?

Gavin stole a hand towel and would not give it back. I did the old tennis ball exchange trick. He obediently dropped the towel and sat for the ball toss. But when I tossed the ball, he picked up the towel and ran to the ball. He was trying to find a way to hang onto both before I got to him so ended up throwing the towel on top of the ball and picking them up together. Tricky doodles!
