Hanging out with Darwin
I had the day off so most of it has been spent goofing off with the pup. I snapped a few photos this morning and then later my husband wanted to snap some pictures of me with Darwin, of course after I got home from a run so excuse the wild hair. I think Darwin is having a better hair day than I am.
It's so hard to take pictures of him now that he's getting faster. This pup doesn't walk anywhere, he RUNS. So, I have to hope he gets distracted in order to snap a photo.

He's always smiling. Everyone thinks he's a Golden Retriever right now, but he's starting to get long hairs on his face. It will be interesting to see what he looks like when he's older.

What a happy puppy!!! He is just so darn cute and you are going to love it when the little tufts of hair start coming in around the eyes and face. Very Doodley!

When do those hairs show up? He definitely has them starting already..some puppies seem to have a really full face by this age and I guess others grow in slowly. It doesn't really matter, he can be naked for all I care. I'm mostly just curious! Also, I think his coat may lighten as he gets older..he has white hairs all through his coat and especially on his face.

All Doodles are different and there are so many different coats. Though Darwin looks a lot like my GracieDoodle did as a pup. She is an F1GD Standard. Her's started showing up close to 4 months old. Very cute too!

By the way - I am a runner too & I am excited to run with Bexter. My vet said I have to wait until he is 18 months old (which he will be in October) for his joints and everything to form. I am excited to have a running partner! Do you ever plan on running with Darwin?
