I have a 3 month old puppy and don't want to cut his hair yet. He loves the kiddie pool and sleeping on the vent. Has anyone tried those cooling beds? I was thinking of getting one to see if it helped him cool off (only using it under supervision of course!!)

Just FYI, neither of my dogs like to lie on soft beds. Both prefer hard surfaces. Go figure.
I so want to have Riley sleep on a gorgeous designer doggy bed that would look good in the cottage but I fear I would be wasting my money as he just loves the tiled floor in our hall or the bare crate floor.  Every night I get his bed ready with a lovely soft pad and his first task is to push it into the corner!  I just can't bring myself to remove it altogether. I live in hope and maybe when it gets really cold he will opt for soft and warm as opposed to cool and hard!
I had one of the cooling beds for my other dog and he loved it.  We did live on a boat in the Caribbean at the time, so not sure if it was just because he was so darn hot. He never tried to chew it, but then again he never really chewed anything.
I heard about these too, and would love to know more.  My girls always sleep on the tile floor.  Day and night.  In AZ they would get some good use out of one.
I have the Canine Cooler for Cooper and she loves it! That and the bathroom floor!

I have this one for Halas, and he seems to like it. It's nice, because you don't have to fill it with water or freeze it or anything.

Wow this one looks great-no freezing it!
Well, I got one, and he liked it for the most part. My husband found it chewed up one morning ! (I had surgery and my husband took care of Wally for a few days) Don't think I will be getting another right now. Good thing it was non-toxic!!
