My DH just came in the bedroom while I was playing with Tori.  I was down on the ground crawling around like a dog bending my head down and pushing into her.  She was pawing at my hair  and zooming and hiding back and forth playing chase.   DH of course just shook his head, got what he came in for and walked back out. No words were necessary to know what HE was thinking. (There's not many people that I would even admit that to - LOL)   So it got me wondering.... what do YOU do with your doodle that 'others' may think... "I would never"..... So finish the sentence...Have you ever__________ with (or for) your doodle?

Yep, I googled the show. He had 2 left feet. Watched some clips from the movie to refresh my memory. It was a funny, but strange show.
Eugene Levy. His character couldn't dance because he had 2 left feet. "Literally, he has 2 left feet." And then they show his feet with 2 left shoes on. Love that movie.
Something funny about that movie, where I used to work the CEO's wife was referenced in that movie - her name was Bonnie and she had bright red hair - I don't remember the kind of dogs that she bred in real life - she was a real piece of work.
I laughed when I saw you mention Alejandro. We routinely sing Doodyjandro in our house! Yoda's nickname is Doody. I know....ridiculous. Every song can become a doodle song though.
I also have a few "original" songs I sing to Jackdoodle. We even do a little dance to one of them. Video rights to the highest bidder.
Love it! Music video please!
I dance with Pocket too. This generally happens when he jumps up on me, and I lead him around singing, "we could have danced all night" from My Fair Lady. He must dislike this, as he rarely jumps on me anymore ;)
I'll start the bidding at 1 virtual steak toy...
That is so funny! You should do a book of "Songs"!
I make up songs, too. They aren't good songs, but Halas doesn't seem to mind. I'm sure other people would think it's pretty funny.

Halas and I just finished playing one of these strange games. I lay on my back on the floor, and he immediately comes over and sits on my stomach. While sitting on my stomach, he'll try to put his front legs kind of on my shoulders. Once he thinks I'm kind of trapped, he'll try to lick my face or chew on my hair. I usually start laughing and can't stop.

I also sometimes hide under a blanket on the floor, and he'll try to pull the blanket off. We don't do this too often, because it usually results in my taking a paw to the face since Halas can't see what's under the blanket that he's pawing at.
Shelly there are so many categories...
ever since the poop comments in Tara's post I think of is really gross stuff dealing with poop, puke, pulling over to get teeth out of her throat she's choking on

Neurotic stuff like calling doggie daycare because I couldn't see her on the cam and turns out they were playing with her in the office (I thought she got away or someone kidnapped her), called doggie daycare because R&B get seperated and are trying to jump the fence to get to each other, Hiring a dog sitter like it's a babysitter, putting sweatshirt on Bandit because he gets cold when he's wet,

Let them walk me, because I think they have more fun that way:) running after them like a crazed woman when they won't do a recall (primarily because of some stupid swan, cat, squirrel, small child or dog within their radar), rasberries on their bellies, making as many crazy noises as I can to get them to start zoomies, zooming with them, barking at them...

oh jeez I better stop before you all admit me:) LOL
Have you ever flipped across the bed with your doodles? I love to flip across the bed and Fen and Dus love to follow suit by bouning across the bed after me. This usually turns into a game of chase and tag, which may not be the best activity when living on the fourth floor of a condo (sorry below stairs neighbors).
My husband is actually the crazier one with the doodles. His would be "Have you ever created a dojo for your doodles and initiated them in the ways of the ninja?" Yes I know this sounds crazy, but my husband goes around pretend ninja chopping the doodles, sneaking up on them with "the tiger snake" and "attacking" them to see how they will react. He says they've created their own dojo and that I'm not included but am being but up for a vote soon. He also tells me what new styles/moves they are working on. According to him Dustin is now working on the Paddling Beaver while Fenway is working on the Leaping Lizard. I have trained Dustin to bow and DH puts this to good use telling him to bow to his sensei. It's quite hilarious, but I'm sure others would think he was crazy. I mean he's an attorney for goodness sake!!!
HaHa.... I love them ALL! We too make up songs! Sensei, huh! Which martial arts does he practice? My sons do jiu jitsu! We haven't taught any moves to Tori yet though!
