The picture of the Doodle is beautiful, what a cutie!
I think I love him>> well if you love him it would be wrong not to get him!
Super cute and yes it is fine to change your mind - before you take a puppy home. Changing your mind after you take a puppy home - not so much. Follow your heart!!!
It's not wrong to change your mind. "I think I love him" and he's available - then it's simple. Follow your heart. Meant to be, I say. You even have a name for him :)
I knew when my Shih Tzus passed my next dog would be a "doodle" when I meet my beautiful Sasha she was 4 months old and just a fuzzy wavy coat. She was a happy, comical, special little girl made just for me. There was a instant connection between Sasha and I. I knew when purchasing a mixed breed dog "anything" can happen meaning more poodley or less poodley, with knowing this I did not care if Sasha turned out with curly or straight hair or no hair at all - - I love my princess no matter what her hair, color, its her personality is what I fell in love with. By the way Sasha is turned out to be non-shedding and VERY poodley. My Oliver (labradoodle) had loose curls when he was a baby and now he has a bit tighter curl by not as much as Sasha. I love both my babies very, very much and consider myself bless to have such great, smart dogs, well adjusted doodles.
When purchasing a mixed breed dog anything goes !!! If you want a specific look I think your best bet is to go with a pure breed.
What wonderful choices your have! Good luck!
