HDA troph arrives in Monrovia CA

Thank you Gail and Bailey for awarding me the Hopeless Doodle Addict award.  I was so surprised, stunned actually, when I learned a package of goodies would be coming to Roo and Tigger and me, because I am a Hopeless Doodle Addict.  When all of us (even my DH) opened the package on Saturday morning and I explained why we received it, DH laughed until the tears ran down his face.  I don't see why being an HDA is any funnier than being a Hopeless Los Angeles Kings addict.  We couldn't open the package on Friday night because there was a Kings game on.  At least they finally won!

There were two packages inside of the box, one just for me and one for Roo and Tigger.  We all loved our gifts.  I thought it was so clever to include the magazine "Lakes of Indiana" where Gail lives.  I have had such fun with it as I grew up outside Detroit, Michigan and lived in Chicago for five years.  Went to more than one horse show in Indiana while I was growing up.  I have had such fun with that magazine.  I had to wrestle my daughter for coffee - she won, but I got to keep the cup!

Pictures above show the fun the doods had.  Roo took his treasures to his bed and then the couch, the next to last picture shows Tigger on the rug hoarding his loot. The only thing I don't understand is that it is a picture of my grandma holding the HDA award.  She has been dead for many years, guess she came back to enjoy the fun.  My husband say that is me holding that HDA award, but it couldn't be, that person is as old as my grandma, so clearly he is mistaken.
