Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Having just found this forum, I decided to lurk about for a few hours and then ended up joining; y'all have a great community going here, that I hope to in some way add to as the years come.
After months of thought and numerous minor decisions, I settled on a breeder in the Western Ohio area (somewhat close to me) that was working with medium sized breeds. At last, I decided which litter to go with, and a new doodle will be entering my life later this month(though will not be coming home until the beginning of March.
Admittedly, this will be my first puppy experience, as my other dogs had been adopted(both passed at this point); thankfully, I have a slew of local support to help get me through any issues I might encounter, inclusive of which is my business partner, who has seven of the most well behaved(albeit not well trained...figure that one out; I've tried) dogs I have met.
The puppy is spoiled already-I have a creek in my backyard that averages 18" deep(except during floods!), as well as almost 7 acres of open running space, where 1.5acre is a bit swampy. Needless to say, I am likely to have my work cut out keeping the goof clean.
Breathe deep,
Seek Peace,
Fly High.

Welcome to DoodleKisses - the best website around for doodle lovers everywhere. You will have a great time with your new pup. Be sure to post plenty of photos. We love to watch puppies growing up on DK. Seven acres of running space - what a lucky pup! You may go through a lot of changes making the necessary adjustments for the new member of your family but it is well worth it. Take a look around at some of the members here and share our photos (and yours).
Welcome. Now the hardest part is waiting until March. It gives you time to get caught up on a lot of good puppy and doodle info in general. Look forward to pictures soon.
