How Big Will My F1B GoldenDoodle Male Get

Hello, i was typing this question into google, and it brought me to this website, So i figured you guys could help answer.

I recently got a F1B GoldenDoodle,

The Mother Was 60 Lbs, And the Father was 45-50 Lbs

Hes currently just under 9 weeks old, and he weighs 7 pounds...

Is there a chart or Forumala, where i can tell approx how big he will become

It is too early to tell, but 7 pounds is small for a 9 week old pup with those parents--you may end up with one that is more the size of the dad than the mom. BUT, sometimes they are smaller at that age and then catch up and go past their siblings, so time will tell. If he keeps growing at about the same rate, he would be about 15-18 pounds in 7 weeks which would give him an adult size of 30-40 pounds. Not likely!  The dad was a poodle, I assume and a smaller standard if only 45-50, so this pup could have gotten some of that and less of the mom's build.

It is very difficult to photograph a black dog on a white background--messes with the exposure--I edited your photo a bit so that he was not just a black shadow...here he is--he is more poodle-y looking, so I am betting he will have a slim build like dad and his weight also. I raise labradoodle pups, so I have seen this before. He is very cute by the way and will be a curly boy!!

Again, I am just wondering what the breeder guessed him to be? Maybe she has had other litters with these parents and you can get an idea of what he might be. But bottom line, there are so many variables, and every puppy in every litter can be a bit different.  My Murphy is 60# and his parents were right around what your doodles were. But there are siblings in his litter that top out over 100# as well.  But the 16 week formula worked well with both mine. they were both around 28 # at 16 weeks and their mature weight is stable at 60# each.  I work at keeping this ideal weight though, as I can see and feel a few extra pounds and I do not want them to get heavy, especially as they age.  Good luck and you will love every ounce of him no matter what weight he is.
