So it seems we are to be concerned with hypothermia at certain temps, but is there ever a concern for frost bite on paws that are in snow and ice no matter the temp?  Just curious.  Is there even such a thing for dogs?

Chase got frostbite on one of his toes a few years ago - I felt like a very bad guilty doodle mom! Now I use bots on him in the cold.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston had this article in their most recent newsletter.  Part of it answers the question, "How Cold is Too Cold?"

You know it's cold outside when you let your puppy outside for 5 mins. and she comes back inside with saliva. small twigs and dead grass FROZEN to her beard! It was 7 degrees yesterday.

This is really helpful, thanks!
