How do you like your doodle to look?

Do you prefer a longer coat or short cuts. What about beards and tails? I'm curious about how people like their doodles to look.

I prefer a shorter coat.  That being said, Bodi is getting groomed on Monday.  When I walked him last night, 3 people stopped me to tell me how gorgeous he is!!!  I do short because it is easier for me.  He loves to get brushed, but with short hair it takes 5-10 minutes.  This works with our lifestyle.

Camilla, I absolutely Darwin's "middle" coat! What a gorgeous boy :).

I like Duncan to be on the shaggy side. He's never had short hair.

I'm fortunate that Jack has what I call a "rockstar" scruffy coat.  I've never had to have him groomed other than a few quick snips of his bangs, ears, and buttstache.  He always looks like he just got out of bed.

I'm not sure what you call this look, but it's Libby and we like it!   Her hair is curly with some tight curls and some loose curls.  She is fluffy and very soft!

I like long and fluffy coat. But Charlie has really tight and dense coat on her body and it is really difficult to keep her long. Her legs are rather loose and wavy. So, I keep her on poodle puppy clip. It does make her look more like a poodle and less doodle, and not the muppet look I love. But I think she looks cute. Years ago, I saw a doodle with shaved face on DK, and ever snce then I keep her face shaved as well. I did not like the moisture from the water around her face too much.....
