How long standard doodles grow on average? Ours is 40something lbs and 6 months. Any idea on how big she will get still?

I was going to ask a similar question - like how will we know they are full size?
My male doodle reached full size at about 7 months. He's 65 lbs. You'll know when they are full size because they stop growing :P

I would estimate that they are as tall as they are going to get around 7-8 months old.  They will continue to "fill out" until they are 2 years old, often adding 5-10 lbs (think a high school/college kid growing into adulthood) .  There's a rule of thumb: take your pups 4 month weight, double it and add 5-10 lbs for their adult weight (5lbs for a fine boned dog, more for a heavier boned dog). I don't consider my dogs full grown until between 1 1/2 to 2 years old.

I agree.  This little formula worked well for me on all three of my doodles.  My labradoodle was 105 pounds, my goldendoodle was 85 pounds, and my ALD is 55 pounds.

I use this chart and so far its been right for all of my dogs.

So then my baby is going to top out between 77 lbs - 86 lbs? Goodness!

I wonder how much taller she will be?

Our "Charley" is 5 months old and already 40 pounds. He's going to be a big boy.
