Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Anyone ever curious about how many DK Doodles there are? I was just looking at the number of members, 8,281 and thinking that could easily mean over 10,000 doodles! WOW! So many of us have at least 2, that could be well over 10k, just mind boggling I think.

Just a random thought everyone, no real point to the story.

It is mind boggling when you think of how many doodles are represented by the 8,281 members and then add the non-doodle dogs, and then the cats, birds, horses etc.  This group has lots of animal experience to share!
LOL- There are some of those members who don't have any doodles. But there's no doubt that the number would be pretty high anyway.
Although I think there are members who don't have doodles yet... so that should be factored in.

There really are members that don't have doodles? Are you talking about the "Doodle Curious?" Maybe we need a group for "Doodlessees'" Or "Doodle wannabe's" or "Lurking Doodle People" ??? Their is such great info here and I started as a member about 6 months before I got our first. I'd have fit into any of those groups then myself.

My daughter joined to lurk.....LOL! She loves my Doodles, but only has French Bulldogs. Secretly, I think she wants a Doodle!!
So a "Doodle wannabe" huh? There's still time to convert her.
Sue, She never listens. I tried before she got her dogs. We have a running argument about which dogs are better and my DD and SIL love to point out that I have mutts. They crack themselves up every time they say it...this is what I am working with :)
Sounds like sour grapes to me and a tinge of jealousy. They really deep down wish they had a "mutt" of their own. Poor misguided children. What are we to do with them?
My sympathies.
I feel sorry for them too!
I think there are a few offspring and other relatives here who don't have their own doodles.
