I know this has been asked before, but can we do an update on how old everyone's doodles are? Does anyone know how old they get to be and what the most common health issues are with their aging?

Hi Sue,

Flip (Cafe') will be 6 years old this June, and Odin(Black) will turn 4 in August. Zhoe my new puppy is 18 weeks.

Flip has had the only major health issue in my pack, he was diagnosed with Addisons Disease last fall.

Thank God after a few Addisons crisis he is now stable and back to his old self :-)

Libby just turned two and so far no health issues:)  An occasional stomach upset, but that is becasue she "gets into" things "she" should not!

It's so interesting how these old discussions get revived. This one is more than a year old.

Felt reviving would be better than asking same question and being told there was a discussion a year ago about it. Wanted new updates. Everyone's doodle is a year older now and we have about more new members than last time I posted this.

Ah, I see.

Well, to update my info,  JD is 8 years and four months old now and has never been healthy.

Sue, I am so glad you did pull this up again!  I have only been here since the end of August and it was nice to hear about all of your Doodles, plus there are SO MANY newbies and it was fun getting to know their Doodles too!   Thanks so much:)

Maggie is 2 years old.

Bexter will be 2 years old this month.  Boo.  He's growing up too fast.

Both are very healthy so far!

My Mattie is 9 yrs. old. I've noticed this last yr she has slowed down alot and limps on occasion if she jumps too much.....she is 70 lbs and looks all retreiver so i believe her issues will be joints and hips. She will still chase the cat as if she is 1 yr old;-)) that worries me as i dont think she can move that fast anymore but she doesnt know that at the time it seems!....I've been lucky as she has had no health issues from the time i got her at 10 wks!!!

Mattie is among the oldest then. One members in-laws have an 11 yr old but I haven't heard from her yet to confirm health.
Lily Grace is just 7 1/2 months and she is healthy. A few poops over the months that have been slightly soft and some vomiting bile before breakfast. I now feed her a little before I take her out so she has a little something in her belly.

Oh wow!  Not many over 10 yrs old :(  I want mine to have long and healthy lives...hoping for 15+

Duncan just turned 1 year old so obviously not in the running for the oldest, but I'm very interested in this tread and reading about everyone's doodles!
