Hurricane Check In

Okay, East Coasters.... when you can please check in with us. I'm up in the middle of the night on the west coast, watching the news and wondering how all of you are doing!

My generator is not that loud unless you're right near it. In my bedroom I just hear a low hum, it reminded me of being on the boat on the Hudson : )

Yay F!!!!!  Great News!!!

Now I have to go back out and continue picking up branches!  I think there are about 1,000.  We're down to about 600 :)  Oh my aching back.  The leaning pine tree I may just christen a "Bucks County Leaning Pine" and enjoy it until I can get someone out her.  Still feeling lucky!

Resting right now after more cleanup. I wrenched my neck a bit tripping and falling over Luca's toy yesterday. The poor doodles were yelled at some over the last few days, deservedly,  but we are all peaceful at the moment : )

Dear F, It has to be exhausting. The stress, the clean up, the worry. I am grateful you did not sustain damage to your home and that you and the doodles are safe, but the trauma has been a terrific drain. I hope you fine respite soon.
