Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up - totally worn out and screaming "whoo hoo what a ride'!
What is your favorite quote or motto?

I love this quote, too. Do you know the author?
It's hard for me to chose just one, there are so many quotes I love, but this one is probably my favorite:
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
(Nietzsche)
Followed by
"Living well is the best revenge."
(Herbert)
And
"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
(Lennon)
Karen the quote that Jane posted is by Mark Frost I believe. I have it posted on my bathroom mirror and see it every day! The actual quote is a bit different:
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid into death broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming-Wow-What a Ride!
Hey...Is this what I see on the mirror in Tara's grooming pic? I was just wondering this morning what it is that you have posted there! LOL!
YES, Jennifer I can't believe how observant you are!! Wow!! I kind of like Jane's Chardonnay and Chocolate version though!! I might change it! LOL!
Ricki - thanks for the information!!! I kinda like the version that I have better though - love that Chardonnay and chocolate!! LOL.
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.
Corrie Ten Boom
Perhaps a reflection of my circumstances these days.
another, although a poem not a quote:
The God Who Only Knows Four Words Hafiz
Every
Child
Has known God,
Not the God of don'ts,
Not the God who ever does
Anything weird,
But the God who only knows four words
And keeps repeating them, saying:
"Come dance with Me."
Come
Dance
Bonnie I love this one. It is something I need to remember more often!
Sweet Sherri, You have had a lot on your plate. I pray you can hold on to the strength you need. hugs.
I love it, too, Bonnie, and also need to paint it on my walls so I'll see it every day, lol.
Wall mural. I'm in... Maybe Camilla will design it for us. ;o)
lol
I'm printing up the worry quote and posting it around my house - not sure I'm ready for a full-on wall mural!
