I think my doodle is picking up on my bad habits!!!

In the morning I get up early(5:45) as the first child leaves for High School. As he leaves the next rises and leaves then the next and so on till all 5 are GONE. As the little one leaves I secretly like to go back to bed and drink my coffee and snuggle with my lover. The last month or soo I have noticed that Amante realizes this is a secret and as soon as he realizes that everyone is gone he runs to my room and jumps in my bed. This is funny because my husband does not allow Amante in our room let alone in the bed. Is it possible that he knows it is ok only when no one else is home.

Oh yes, they know our routines.

Luna gets about 5 minutes of snuggle time before we go to bed each night - she sleeps on her own doggie bed in our bedroom, but never in our bed.

I say "Luna, it's bed time" and she trots over to the bed and puts her paws up.  She can't easily jump on the bed so she's asking to be put up there for her snuggle time.

This is so funny my doodle does the same thing when my hubby leaves for work (works nights). He knows its ok to get in bed with mom but as soon as he hears the door open at night when dad gets home he jumps off the bed.  Such smart dogs.

So cute that he is such a discreet "lover" . What a gentleman to keep your secret affair so well. It's not a bad habit at all! Mine are always in bed when either one of us are.
