Intra hepatic shunted liver

Our sweet Macy is 17 weeks old and has been diagnosed with a shunted liver! She is showing ALL the signs! It's so sad to watch her! She's had several seizures with the severe neurological symptoms (walking the walls with her head down and pressing her head into things and wobbly!)
Is there anyone on here that has a happy, healthy labradoodle with a shunted liver that is controlling the toxins with diet and meds?? We just can't afford to spend the $6000 on a surgery that is complicated with a low success rate! Help!?

I am so sorry for your loss of Macy.  I certainly hope that you are able to get a new little girl to fill the void in your life in the very near future.  I had to skip the video as my own loss of our Sophie girl is a little too recent and my emotions just aren't ready for that as yet, but I know that it was beautiful!

I am so tearfully sorry for your loss. Your video is a beautiful tribute to Macy. It's not how long we love, it's how well. I read about a legend that when an animal is well loved, it's spirit will watch over you.  It looks like Macy was surrounded by love. I'm glad you're going to stay on DK. Blessings and hugs.

Tammy, I am so saddened by your loss of Macy, but I know I would have made the same decision. Your tribute is amazing and what I felt was so special is the lessons you taught our daughter. She obviously learned to love a pet from you and it shows. Sending Macy up with the balloon was a perfect ending for your little one to comprehend that Macy is now in heaven. What a terrific doodle and human mommy you are. Welcome and we will be awaiting the next chapter with your new healthy doodle puppy.

Thanks again everyone! The love and support for our family is truly felt! My daughter is learning how people who we've never meet before, can show their support and empathize with our family! One day I'm sure we'll be able to return the heartfelt gestures to another doodle family that reaches out for someone to love on their family!
