Just a short note as we are heart-broken. This morning Thule pushed a slat out of the fence in our back yard and got out of the yard. She was hit by a car and did not make it.
Thule was the purest example of love and happiness in a dog that I have ever seen. I loved her with all my heart and I am crushed now that she is gone. -Clark
Our hearts are breaking for you..........we are so sorry for the loss of Thule
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...
Dear Adina and Clark. I was shocked when I read you news. In the middle of the night last night Luca escaped. As I walked and drove around looking for him I experienced so many emotions. He is home but I so very sorry that Thule didn't make it. Life is so fragile. I feel I speak for many of us here when I say we feel like we know your family including the dogs. I will remember Thule and her inability to hold her licker, which I'm sure Natalie will miss. I am so sorry.
Clark, I am so sorry for your loss of sweet Thule. I know how devastating that is and my heart goes out to you and your family. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I am shocked and can't believe what I just read. I am so sorry that this happened to beautiful Thule. We are so very sorry about your loss and can't imagine what your family is going through. We are so glad however that your family has many happy and sweet memories of Thule to get you through this painful time. Bless you all and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Lots of Hugs
