Its been a while

Well its been a while since I have been on this site. Here is an update.

I was on here for a while trying to make a decision on a Goldendoodle, but have decided on a Cockapoo. Smaller dog is a bit better for us. But also we made the decision to go for a breeder then an rescue. For many different reasons we decided going to a breeder was best for us.

So now we wait for our pup, which probably will not come to our house until Feb or March.... But looking forward to that day. I'm glad the decision done, but we didn't go with the Goldendoodle... So that's the update...

Congratulations on your decision.  Have fun with your new poo, they are wonderful dogs and I love mine :P  Maybe you'll add a doodle someday, I did that too!

Hey, you know you can still be on DK! Lots of people have all kinds of poodle mixes including aussiedoodles--so hope you will stay with us!!

Enjoy you puppy! It sounds like you made a well thought out decision about what you want in a puppy- I wish everyone took the time to think things out before adding a dog to their family.  We have two cockapoos in our neighborhood and they both seem like terrific dogs.

Well it was mostly my husband coming around to the ideal of having a dog. He was a harder sell then me. I grew up with dogs and most of the time they were given to us or showed up on our yard and stayed.  But we both agreed on the Cockapoo as a good dog for us.

Now its just a waiting game...

My first dog was a cockapoo and my mom currently has another!  they are wonderful!  And stick around!  I think cockapoos count!  I am one with an aussiedoodle, after all :)

Congrats on finding the right breeder and we'll be looking for an update when you get your puppy.  There are two Cockapoos that come to the dog park here and they actually are about the same size as my Rooney (ALD) and the do resemble each other.

Enjoy that little pup! It's still a doodle... there are shepadoodles, spingerdoodles, Irishdoodles... all kinds of doodles here. Yours will be a cockadoodle. ;o)
