Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi everyone,
Heres the update. We met Jake at an enclosed play area. The dogs did great together. Brisby who is pretty mild mannered was dominate. Jake is completely dog submissive. After about 45 minutes, the owner brought Jake over to our home and Brisby and Jake played in the backyard. jake again is very submissive.
He is doing great indoors. He has issues I will post about later for advice etc but for now he is well. He is staying either forever or foster, we will see. He is sweet and we like him a lot. He smells like pee (like hes been in a crate forever) his hair is either rosta-y or matted. I will likely need to get him shaved and start over. He is asking for attention by pawing and nipping. This will take work but this dog has been through a lot. Here are a few pictures.

This is making me cry. Thank you for saving this sweet doodle from his nightmare life. I hope and pray it works out well. Bless you.
I don't know what his story is, but thank you for saving him!
Wow Jenn ~ thank you for rescuing that handsome boy! I see that Jack and Brisby are close in age. I hope this works out, and whether you adopt him or decide to find him a forever home at some point, he is 110% better off than where he has been!
Awwww!!! Jake looks so much like Salvador... I felt guilty leaving my pup in the crate while I was at work for a normal 8-9 hr day. I'm glad you were able to come to Jake's rescue!
