Hi Doodlekissdom. I just wanted to take time to tell everyone here that I am so glad to have found a group that is so fun to be around. I was in a group not too long ago where the atmosphere is VERY very different. I have seen just how much you guys love your doggies and I appreciate that. I trained dogs for a lot of years without a personal "full time dog" to come to and then I found Lyric my chocolate Lab. She is surely the trainer's dog and really is not trained to anything serious except to track and find me or anyone in my family if asked. I don't actually OWN a doodle I just borrow some special ones for awhile, but I think something more permanent is coming in the near future. Anyway, I got some update pictures from some of my families today and I wanted to share a couple of them.
Well, if you are starting to THINK about a doodle, it won't be long until you have one! It seems to work that way. Be careful looking at photos of all the beautiful puppies being born this spring.
It is. Abby and Caleb. Went to the doctor today. Baby has dropped and is head down, so maybe no C-Section this time! Hey would you post that one of Blake and Sterling on the Four Wheeler?
Oh my gosh! I opened this up and saw the first picture and said....I think that is Caleb...then looked at the second and said It is Caleb and Abby! I know the family and Abby is part of the reason we got a doodle! I was interested in doodles before I met her, but after I met her, I was obsessed!!! You did a great job!
LOL small world isn't it. I did ask permission to show his picture on my website and on myspace so I did not think she would mind. I love Abby and Caleb both. Abby is a typical blond..LOL but what a cute little girl. I have some hilarious pictures of her in training. I should post some of them just for a giggle. Thanks for the friend invite. I am glad you were impressed with Abby. They had to wait a little longer than most families to get her because I had to have a C-Section in December with my little girl, and then I had major complications with it and did not heal up until March!! I could not travel, train, or basically anything else. They were so good about it. Anyway, Nice to meet ya. ~Mary
You are doomed!!! Once you 'think' it is a done deal! Doodles have a way of stealing your heart. When we got Samantha I was going to Costco with my daugher (married, 25). You know the kind of errand day you pray you don't run into anyone you know? We stopped to 'look' in a pet store (NOW I know about pet stores but I didn't then) and 2 hours later Samantha was on the way home with us. She is the MOST fantastically (a word?) smart, loving, funny dog I have seen (I know, I know, everyone feels that way about their Doodle so no one should take offense). She is the best thing I have ever done - besides DH and Human kids.
Glad to hear about the baby!! Good luck and I can't wait to see the pictures.
