Laurie's DK Cruise Heartbreak

We've all come to know Laurie's DH, John, from her many blogs.  I always had the impression that he was kind of a quiet guy.  You know how we've heard that by eight he's falling asleep in his chair.  I always thought that since he's F's brother, he'd be somewhat reserved.  Well much to poor Laurie's shock and dismay, nothing could be farther from the truth.  This was "DHs Gone Wild Week" with Laurie's John as the ringleader.  We heard Laurie ask "who is this wild and crazy guy and what has become of the real John"?  Over and over I heard her shocked voice saying "John's cutting loose again"!  There was a lot of dancing going on.....and it wasn't with Laurie.  He enlisted the help of my DS who he referred to as "his wing man".  Yes, he taught Tim that getting girls was as easy as "throwing out a line and reeling them in".  That's when Tim decided that John was "way cool" and his new BFF.  Luckily Clark was there to show some decorum.  I know you may be thinking this is an exaggeration, so here are some photos to prove it.

I'm not too sure what's going on with his tongue here, but Kate (our dinner waitress) looks a little nervous.  I have many, many photos of John dancing with Kate.

Oh and to give you a better idea of what Laurie was dealing with, here's a shot of John as he asked the women of the ship if they'd sit next to him.  Really, John?

There were some great musical shows on the ship.  The young (and very attractive) dancers usually wore two piece costumes with thong bottoms....and their "bottoms" drew some admiration from the DHs and Tim.  On our last night on the ship John and Tim just "happened" to chose an aisle seat....perfect for when the dancers came down off the stage and into the aisle.  I thought it was a bit much when Laurie and I looked over and saw Tim and John fist bump....seriously John?  Oh and they actually thought these dancers were "flirting" with them.....right, John.

So ladies, we all need to be here to support Laurie through this heartbreak.  I'm guessing that John will be first in line for the next DK Cruise.....now that he's had a taste of walking on the wild side, will there be any holding him back?

PS.....I actually wrote this as a blog, but I didn't want to wait for approval so I moved it to a discussion.   I'm not sure who is approving blogs, but just ignore it please.

On the off chance that any of you reading this "blog" believe this to be an exaggeration, every word of this is true.  However, I'm not sure who was the ringleader and who was the wingman.  In my observation, Tim was running the show and teaching his moves to John!!!  :)

Not home yet - Kathy and I are still in Miami.  We did a bit more sight-seeing yesterday and will fly home tomorrow.  Our day yesterday was a bit sedate as we were missing you all!!  Plus we needed Tim to organize our activities!!  :)

Mr. Excitement came into our house last night and immediately sought comfort in his recliner :) I guess the party is over for him. Without Tim to egg him on, I think he has finally calmed down. Meanwhile, I am trying to get over my heartbreak so our marriage can survive. LOL
